It begins with the Virgo Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse on March 14 at 12:28 am MST. You can witness this eclipse and see the moon turn blood-red if you stay up late on Thursday, March 13, and into the early hours of Friday, March 14. This South Node eclipse relates to past lives, unbalanced energies, karmic patterns requiring resolution, and samskaras. Unbalanced Virgo energy is critical and judgmental, marked by sharp, looping thoughts focused on minor details while missing the big picture, and characterized by a lack of action due to fear of imperfection, guilt, and shame. There can be a lot of self-harm from being critical and feeling unworthy. Therefore, the eclipse guides us to “cut” this energy out and seek healing through the balanced expression of Virgo: self-love, wise choices, discernment, the healer, the shaman, Mother Earth, nurturing, caretaking, and being an artisan, craftsperson, and creator with our hands. Move the mental energy out of the head and into the heart and hands. Create, make, do ceremony, tend to the Earth, and be in the garden.

Mercury goes retrograde on Mar 15 and travels from Aries back into Pisces until Apr 7. This has healing potential. As Mercury (The Mind) returns to Pisces, it will draw us back to our Soul and Spirit. This is an opportunity to turn off the news, put down your phone, and listen to the Soul. Return to the ancient ways of the Earth and Sky. Love each other regardless of whether you like each other or not. Earth is everyone’s home.

The Sun conjuncts Neptune in Pisces on Mar 19. Neptune is our spiritual path, and the Sun is our Inner Light shining through the Persona. The Sun enters Aries for the Spring Equinox on March 20. This marks the beginning of the Astrological Year and a new cycle of life and consciousness. Retrograde Venus enters Pisces and conjoins Neptune on March 27. Venus is exalted in Pisces, and Neptune feels at home there. This magical, mystical alignment points to Unity Consciousness and Universal Love. The Soul is close to the heart here, and we may be rocked in a way that brings us to our knees to see the spirit within.

The Aries New Moon and Partial Solar eclipse is Mar 29. Mercury also enters Pisces and conjuncts Neptune. The second eclipse is on the North Node, expressing the balanced masculine:  Seeking Truth, Open-Hearted, Strong, Kind, Clear, and Directed. A good archetype to meditate on is Hanuman-Ji.

Neptune enters Aries on March 30 for the first time since its ingress on April 13, 1861. The Civil War began on April 12, 1861. Let’s not repeat the karmic cycle of war. The harmonic potential here is for love between individuals, appreciating all beings even if we seem different. The shadow is war, aggression, anger, and fire. Choose wisely from the Soul.

Venus in Pisces trines Mars in Cancer on April 6. This is a beautiful alignment of the Masculine and Feminine. It is Shiva/Shakti, both an external energy and an internal one of balance within ourselves. It is a good time for creation and collaboration.
