Believing is Seeing…Into The Mystic

Full Moon Blessings to All Our Relations.

This newsletter lands on top of a full moon Lunar Eclipse-Kapow!

We are in eclipse season. The next one will happen on the new moon in two weeks.

Eclipse means to clip or cut-so it seems the Universe is teeing us up to cut out the unnecessary aspects of our existence.

What thoughts, words, actions, people, places or things are no longer serving us? Over the next two weeks gather up and purge the unneeded, unwanted, and unserving energies in your life. Offer it all up to the portal that naturally opens when these large celestial bodies align with each other.

Eclipses can often stir up some emotions that are sitting just below the surface and give them an electrical charge-so depending on where you are at in your emotional body, you might be feeling a little amplified emotionally or like the volume is being turned up in regards to your feelings. It might seem as though your inner lunatic is driving the bus.

Fortunately, we are also approaching the Spring Equinox. it falls right in-between the two eclipses. This will help us navigate the strong pull of the eclipses.

Equinox is Equal Light/Equal Dark.

As above, so below.

Time to find our own Center

I absoulutely love this time of year, probably in part because I was born on the spring equinox, and so spring feels like home in my soul…but I also love that spring is a living reminder that the Darkness does not stay forever-the Light will always come back- again-and again- until infinity.

So if darkness feels like it has taken over, we can rest assured that the Light will always return.

Thankfully, I am feeling very centered at current time. Maybe its because I have been dedicated and diligent in doing my daily spiritual practices of mantras, prayers, meditations, and self-study; maybe its because I don’t watch TV or scroll social media; maybe its all the yoga I do; maybe its because I am sitting outside in the sunshine watching the birdies flutter in and out around our garden that is breaming with spring greens. Maybe its because I Trust that something greater than ourselves is moving through us and I am anchoring onto that force for my guidance.

Although I can feel the tug and pull on my emotional body like everyone else, I seek to keep my head above the fray and stay centered on my faith.

For me, Believing is Seeing. Read that again. Its a tricky one.

In my deepest heart, I feel everything is interconnected and interdependent. And not just all human beings, but all of Creation. I can feel the spirit of the mountains, the rivers, the trees, the stars, the animals, the oceans, etc. Everything is God to me. When I see a sunset, I see God. When I see a thousand twinkling stars in the sky, I see God. When I see a new born babe, I see God. All of creation is imbued with the same spiritual energy that you or I have coursing through our being-ness. The big difference is that non-human beings don’t have egos (nor do new born babes), but they do have Spirit. They are lucky.

And because I believe so strongly that everything is connected through Spirit-and that ultimately Spirit is the purest form of consciousness-what I call unconditional Love- I open my heart to this Earth walk we are all on together from a place of peace.

This philosophy is ancient and is anchored in many different wisdom traditions, and it is certainly not my own. But my faith in goodness or God-ness has enabled me to trust and love myself, life, and others more deeply; stay centered in my soul heart; and access the cosmic flow state more readily.

Our egos are what get us humans into trouble. Egos aren’t bad things innately, but if they aren’t managed properly they can get us in a whole bunch of trouble.

Stephen Cope is a psychotherapist, yogi and the author of Yoga and the Quest for the True Self. I am currently reading his book and he speaks of the American mind:

“Yoga speaks in a startlingly fresh way to the concerns we Western seekers bring to our psychological and spiritual journeys. Americans suffer inordinately with what therapists call problems of the self-an inability to self-soothe; an inability to sustain a satisfying and cohesive sense of self over time; an inability to warmly love the self; an inability to maintain an ongoing sense of belonging and deep sense of meaning and purpose in life.

“Self-estrangement” is the curious new word we’ve devised to describe this particular brand of suffering. We live deeply ensconced in the cult of the individual. We live what we like to think of as “our lives,” often disconnected from and independent of the world of nature, as well as from the dark and mysterious world of the soul. We live cut off from a sense of our true deep mutual belonging and interdependence, and we suffer from a painful sense of separation a separation from the life of the body; a separation from the hidden depths of life, Its mystery and interiority; a separation from the source of our own guidance, wisdom, and compassion; and a separation from the life-giving roots of human community.”

Heed the Call to find Center.

(And indeed it is time- omg! There are a lot of big planets moving signs this year-

This is a significant shift of energies-seatbelts on-there is some turbulence ahead).

I offer to all who feel a shift in our collective consciousness to seek like minded community and collaborate with each other. Collaboration is my word of the year. I believe it is essential to our well-being and the key to getting us through the turbulence that is ahead of us. We need each other and we need to lose this idea of separateness. We are all bound together through Great Spirit and its time to tap back into this omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Source.

Share your ideas and help each other stay connected to your spiritual center, called the hridyam heart.

And tame your Ego. It thrives on Fear. So the more you fear, the more you feed it, and the more out of control it gets.

Love tames the ego. Trust the ways of Love: compassion, generosity, kindness, service, gratitude, humbleness, truthfulness, friendliness, joyfulness. These are all ways your ego can show up to help you navigate your life and stay centered.

All too often we let fear, worry, skepticism, resentment, jealousy, insecurity, aversion, prejudice, selfishness, greed, lust, and the scarcity mindset rule our world. This is how our ego gets out of control, and we lose our center.

Everything is energy and vibration.

2025 is a soul rocker year- big shake up in consciousness. Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Jupiter—All moving into new signs-in the same year! This is very rare, and very radical.

And- it will have a big effect on us. These are big planets with big energy and vibration.

With this incredible astrology approaching…all year long, it seems the important piece right now is to use this time of radical change and uncertainty to deepen our connection to our Atma– or our soul self. And also deepen our connection to each other.

This is not a time to numb out, or lay low, or wait it out.

Heck! Its spring! Its time to jump up through the debris and express the new spring greens of your heart.

Spring says its time to chirp, and sing, and jump, and shout!

Ruffle your feathers and spread you wings.

Yet~It also says find Center.

The equinoxes signify the need to come into balance or equality. To come to the middle point or center. Not too extreme.

Let us all reflect the energy of new season in a harmonious way. Use the eclipses to align with your center and to release any negative ego energy that is holding us back, and use the spring equinox to access your perennial Loving spirit of your soul.

Keep a candle lit for all the Goodness in the world. There is a bunch of it still flourishing everywhere in plane sight. Believing is seeing.

Happy Spring!

Much love,

Katrina Marie
