Namaste Friends!

Happy 4th of July!  It is a time to celebrate what it means to be free.  I know I sometimes take for granted the fact that I can go anywhere, do anything, or be anyone.  This big beautiful world is chalked full of opportunities and experiences that are ours to explore and experience.  So when days are carved out on the calendar to pause and reflect on what it means to be free, I gladly give way to gratitude.  I feel so blessed to be born into a country that values that DIVINE right.  I send love and blessings to those who are less fortunate.  I encourage all of us to be proactive in helping to make way for all beings to be free and happy.   This is a great weekend to chant the following mantra:

LOKAH SAMASTAH SUKHINO BHAVANTU.

In a loose translation, this means

” MAY ALL BEINGS BE FREE AND HAPPY,

AND MAY WE CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR HAPPINESS.”

Our Sunday (the 4th) schedule is modified to allow for our teachers to enjoy their friends and families.  We will be offering three classes in the morning to help liberate your spirit:

8:30-9:30 is Peaceful Yoga (30 minutes of gentle stretching followed by a 30 minute meditation and savasana) with Caren

10:00-11:30 is All Levels Flow with Lisa Schlelein (this girl has got it going on people).

10:00-11:30 is Kid’s Yoga for all little yogis between ages 3-12.

Something for everyone.  We hope to see you there!  We will have our normal Monday schedule on the 5th.

Upcoming and Ongoing

• Live music yoga class every Thursday night at 5:30.  Peter Vrazsity is an amazing musician playing keyboards and steel drums. He and I do our best to bring you in touch with your own vibrational energy through sound or nada yoga.

• Don’t forget that we have a mala making class on Thursday the 8th following the live music class with Sarita.  See the special events tab for more info.

• Our massages, facials, and reiki readings will begin on July 10th when we open the Prana Room.  Be sure to book one of the ayurvedic facials that  esthetician Leigh Ann Gould has prepared!  Divine!
