“Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

I’m dating myself here, but remember the show Happy Days? Fonzi was “too cool” to ever say he was wrong or utter the words “I’m sorry”. The writer’s of the show used this character flaw to show how pride and ego can make even a great man become small. Too often we allow our egos to dictate our reactions. We get defensive as soon as someone disagrees with our view point. Or if someone points out our errors, mistakes, flaws we tend to get angry rather than being grateful for the correction. Don’t take things personally. A Difference of opinion and/or constructive criticism doesn’t mean you are bad or wrong. It’s an opportunity to grow and evolve. And it doesn’t mean you have to change . Be open to new ideas and constructs. And if after review, it doesn’t resonate with you, respectively disagree and carry on. Most importantly, stay in your Light; remove the boxing gloves. Being defensive is low vibration energy and unhealthy.
