Turtle Reserve, Artisan Markets, Pristine Beaches This little fishing village is surrounded by tropical mangrove forests and a sea-turtle reserve. Because of this, the village area cannot be commercially developed and maintains it’s local charm. It is home to artisan crafters, local farmers, fisher people, and spiritual seekers. There is a wonderful farmers market, a hand-craft market, and a full service grocery store. There is also a great selection of small beach-side restaurants, a good coffee shop, local craft shops, and beautiful un-crowded beaches. We will be taking a few adventures into the jungle to visit some of the Sacred Mayan sites, including the famous Chichen Itza, Tulum, and the Ik Kil Cenote. Attendees will be provided with a daily breakfast and 2 dinners. Each room has it’s own kitchen for cooking or you can eat out. Attendees are responsible for their own airfare. We will provide transportation to and from the airport and to our planned adventures. Everything is within walking/biking distance from our Retreat Center.
