Memorial Day reminds us to be grateful for our Freedom

We have a glorious weekend before us with sunshine and free time.  I love kicking off summer with Memorial Day weekend.  It is a great time to set the intention for your summer yoga practice as well. Be sure to keep your practice up through the  warm days of summer; its tempting to let it go in exchange for playtime in the sun.  We should all take in the sun’s warmth and be outside, but our practice is what keeps us balanced, so be sure to weave in some yoga throughout the weeks ahead.  We have a lot to offer if you are looking for some new classes. 

 Angelique De Silva will be leading our chanting and meditation class today at 11:30.  Don’t miss it.  Catch the flow class just before with Kristina Nasi.  We will be closed on Monday so our teachers and staff can be with their families and friends.  But we will be back to our normal schedule on Tuesday.  Be sure to take a few moments to reflect on how fortunate we are to have our freedoms.  It is sometimes easy to take for granted how lucky we are; we can pack up a picnic, jump on our bike, and head to the park or the mountains.  Let us send blessings to all beings who have yet to experience those liberties.  Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu.
