Lots of things are happening at Karma Yoga Center!

Namaste Friends!

We are open and loving it!  Please check out the Schedule  and Class Descriptions.  Mindbody online will be up soon!

We will be closed on Memorial Day and there is a modified schedule for this Sunday.  Our last class on Sunday will be the chanting and meditation class with Angelique De Silva.  She is a gifted teacher and this is a great way to practice another limb of the yogic path.  Some would argue it is the juice of yoga and a short cut to enlightenment!  Don’t worry if you have never had any experience with chanting or meditation.  Angelique will make it accessible to all students.  It lifts the spirit to practice yoga in such a devotional (bhakti yoga) way.

We have some upcoming events and workshops.  Our grand opening weekend is on the Summer Soltice weekend June 18-21.  Friday night June 18th we will host a gong bath with Gary Fishman.  The cost is $20 per person and the investment is worth every penny.  You will walk away feeling completely renewed and relaxed.  Gong baths fill up fast so be sure to pre-register at the studio.  The rest of the weekend will involve lots of giveaways and music throughout the weekend.  More information will be available soon.

The following weekend we are offering a kids yoga teacher workshop with two of Denver’s best kids yoga instructors, Julie Campilio and Tara MacKeigan.  More details are coming, but save the date for June 26th!

We will be offering a beginner’s workshop called Yoga 101 a few times a year.  The first one will be coming soon.  If you are wanting to learn the fundamentals of yoga in a condensed format, this is the class for you.  In the meantime, we offer an ongoing class called “Beginnings” that helps those new to yoga gain an understanding of the basic poses and breathing techniques.  This class is offered on Saturdays at 4.

Be sure to catch the live music yoga class on Thursday evenings with Pete Vraszity on keyboards and steel drums.  I will be leading the class in an all levels flow.  The class starts at 5:30 and it fills up fast so be sure to get there early.
