Lying is done with words, AND also with silence.

When first we practice to deceive.”-Sir Walter Scott

I noticed I have an onslaught of spider webs spun in every nook and cranny of my yard/garden/sunroom. It’s as if a spider convention descended overnight. And their delicately spun webs are so nearly invisible that I keep sitting/stepping/swiping on them-completely entangling these beautiful works of sacred geometry. The spider’s weave is an attempt to deceive the eye and it works so well it’s deception often destroys its own beauty. Just as our own deceit is a means to bring dis-ease to our own soul. And, it is good to also remember the words of wise poet Adrienne Rich, “”Lying is done with words, AND also with silence.” Stay free of entanglement; be true in all you do.❤️
