Schedule 
Class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm.
Rotating weekend schedule (1st weekend includes Saturday and Sunday; 2nd weekend includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 3rd weekend is off. Rotation begins again on the 4th weekend.)
Weekend hours are: Friday 7-9pm, Saturday 1-6pm, Sunday 12-4pm.*
This course will include:
- History and philosophy of yoga
- Study of the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and other selected texts
- Anatomy of the physical body (includes a trip to a cadavar lab)
- Building awareness around the energetic body (chakras, koshas, nadis, gunas, marma points, (includes a reiki reading)
- Introduction to Sanskrit with Dr. Katyayani Poole
- Intro to Vedic Astrology (includes one vedic astrology reading)
- In-depth study of each asana (posture) including structural alignment and adjustments
- Sequencing and class planning
- Class theming and space setting
- Exploration of prana and vayus (breathwork)
- Ayurveda and nutritional guidance (includes one marma point massage)
- Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion), Kirtan (singing and chanting), Puja (devotional offering)
- Create and perform Hindu Deity Dinner Theatre! (This is a sold out event that people look forward to each training).
- Meditation techniques
- Each student will also be given an opportunity to teach a public class
- Unlimited free yoga during the course
- 20% off all offerings at Karma (retail, workshops, kirtans) during the training
- Realities of becoming a yoga instructor (self-promotion and self care)
- Karma Yoga (selfless service, or community service)
About your teachers
The course will be taught predominately by myself (Katrina Gustafson Broyles) 
and Lisa Schlelein. We have both completed several YTTs and have studied with numerous teachers in our yoga career. We both have taught in other trainings and now have the opportunity to facilitate our own training. We are certified E-RYT’s as well.
We are bringing in many expert teachers to help enrich and supplement this already in-depth program. Our curriculum far exceeds the Yoga Alliance requirements for certification and we are proud of what we have put together. Some of these teachers include: Dr. Katyayani Poole, Sri Jeff Poole, Beth Sanchez, Laura Wade Jaster, Lakshmi Nair, Jeremy Wolf, Elissa Hardy, Allison Benner, and Todd Garcia.
We are so excited to share with you what our teachers have taught us. We are a registered 200 yoga school with Yoga Alliance certification, and if you are considering a training this one is going to be exceptional!
We realize there are many trainings to choose from and while all have great things to offer, our program strives to be the most thorough and comprehensive. We attribute this to the fact that our program has both the study and understanding of the physical benefits of this ancient practice, but also, and more importantly, the study and experience of the more subtle realms of existence. This will truly be a life changing experience!

- Interview with lead teachers of the program
