Meet Rebecah Ziegler,  Craniosacral Therapist/Trauma Touch Therapist/Structural Yoga Therapist/Numinous Interpretations/Yoga Instructor

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, yet effective type of bodywork.  This specialized approach focuses on the craniosacral system comprised of the brain, spinal cord, mininges, cranial bones and sacrum.  This craniosacral system contains fluid, which moves with slight but perceptible rhythmic fluctuation.  By using gentle pressure, tension in the body is reduced and balance restored.

Trauma Touch Therapy is an innovative somatic approach toward healing shock, trauma and abuse.  The ten session series is client directed while using a containment model.  With unlimited possibilities each session may include therapeutic movement and breathwork, specific application of touch modalities, awareness of body/mind characteristics, art, music, poetry and play, all creatively facilitated to empower the client.  The Trauma Touch approach is an adjunct to psychotherapy in understanding and unwinding the cycle of shock, trauma and abuse.

Structural Yoga™ Therapy seeks first to relieve pain.  Structural Yoga™ Therapy also takes into account the client’s personality, lifestyle, attitude, and stress level, and draws practices from classical yoga that can further enhance the client’s rehabilitation and overall well-being. Yoga practices that are typically used include movements and positions to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, increase circulation, and realign the body, breathing techniques, relaxation training, meditation techniques, and lifestyle changes.

Prices for therapy sessions:  $80 for 1 hour session, $120 for 1.5 hour session

Numinous Interpretations™ ~ These intuitive counseling sessions are supportive and valuable for gaining  personal direction and spiritual guidance,  to bring insight into confusion, harmony into discord and joy into love, honoring  Wisdom, Inspiration and Grace ~ Jai Ma!

Prices for Intuitive Counseling: $40 for 30 minutes,  $80 for 60 minutes

Emily Jo Kehnast, Lic. Ac., MSOM, Dipl. Ac, Dipl. CH, received her Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO.  She is licensed and board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, NCCAOM. Emily began her path toward medicine and alternative approaches to healing at a young age.  She has always had a passion for helping others and empowers individuals by encouraging their personal strengths.  She takes this attitude into the treatment room and with the use of acupuncture and herbs, reminds the body that it has the ability to heal itself when given appropriate nourishment.  She lives in the Highlands neighborhood with her loving husband and enjoys spending time with family & friends, practicing yoga, backpacking, snowboarding, cooking, and traveling.
